| Sylvia is a truly unique article, crafted from a premium selection of 100% top grain, slightly heavier weight (1.2mm - 1.4mm), full grain, raw material. The heavier weight allows each hide to develop a unique rounded pebble grain that is further enhanced by “tipping” the peaks of the surface with a dark overtone that is administered by hand. This “tipping” effect is used in conjunction with aniline dyes and protective pigments to provide an unparalleled depth of color and dimension not seen in other types of leather.
